It’s my favorite thing to do, calling the fire departments that were selected to receive grants. Five departments were chosen for a total of $52,000 (slightly over what I had planned ?). Today was the day to call each fire chief or representative to give them the good news but I was only able to reach three of the five winners. The remaining two were not around so I will try again tomorrow and then on Monday, in case everybody went fishing!
